About

My private therapy practice is currently closed to new clients. New clients can contact me at Jory Mental Health Collective where I work as a therapist and clinical supervisor. For consultation inquiries, supervision inquiries, direct questions about my practice, or for former clients wanting supports or to re-engage, please contact me directly.

I believe that therapy is a collaboration between therapist and client and there are a number of ways to navigate a problem and seek solutions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience serving adolescents, women, youth and families, and the GLBTQ community on goals and issues relating to anxiety, depression, identity, trauma, transitions, relationships, self-harm, attachment, and grief and loss. My therapeutic style is strengths-based and client-centered, and includes narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, parts work therapy, mindfulness, and a solution-focused approach. I come from a systems theory perspective and work to integrate principles of empowerment, harm reduction, and social justice. I seek to advocate for my clients with warmth and humor in a non-judgmental setting.

My fee is $150. I am qualified to work with insurance companies for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. My services may be covered in part by your health insurance plan.

I believe that a strong therapeutic fit is integral to the effectiveness of this work. I offer a free thirty-minute consultation to help you determine if I am the right match for your needs.

In my free time I enjoy collecting passport stamps, making playlists, reading and writing, and spending time with my family and friends.
